Cindy knows EVERYONE can sing, and specializes in helping the novice as well as the experienced singer to develop the confidence and skills needed to sing with ease. Cindy sings and teaches a variety of styles: Musical Theatre, Jazz, Folk, Pop, Church, Classical, and Choral. Regardless of your musical style, Cindy’s voice lessons can help you improve your sound, song interpretation, and vocal styling. Due to Cindy’s extensive voice training and years of experience from teaching people of all ages, she is able to customize lessons that are the perfect fit for you, ensuring that you reach your singing goals.
The technical focus of Cindy’s lessons is to help each singer develop a healthy singing sound by proper use of the three major components for good vocal sound: relaxation, breathing, and resonance. You will learn step-by-step, easy to understand techniques and vocal exercises that are fun to practice, enabling you to achieve your best vocal sound. Some of the more common areas for which Cindy helps singers to improve vocal technique are:
